After the successful kick-off of events under the umbrella of the European Diagnostic Clusters Alliance (EDCA) the 4th Berlin-Brandenburg Technology Forum offers you another superb opportunity to share experiences and meet potential partners, locally and internationally at this dynamic diagnostic-focussed European partnering event.

The Berlin-Brandenburg Technology Forum, organized every year by the Center for Molecular Diagnostics and Bioanalysis (ZMDB), has proven to be very fruitful for all participants in the diagnostic industry. In 2012 it will see its 4th edition and offers:

• The technology forum where guest speakers will share their expertise and discuss recent significant developments of technologies in in vitro-diagnostics by science and industry in Berlin, Brandenburg and selected partner regions from Europe.
• The specially designed partnering event for diagnostics companies and research institutes allows SME’s to meet and exchange with like-minded individuals as well as potential co-operation partners from Europe. It serves as a platform to broaden and encourage possible growth opportunities in the field. This is done in co-operation with the Enterprise Europe Network.
• An exhibition for partner clusters and their companies in the field of in vitro-diagnostics. A wonderful opportunity to be seen, showcase latest achievements and get exposure to new developments and alternative opportunities.
• Company presentations

The fundamental aim is to bring together SME active in the field of diagnostics and give them the possibility to showcase their latest achievements. The event will be hosted by the Charité being Europe’s biggest university clinic and take place at their main campus in the heart of the German capital Berlin.

How can you benefit from this event? The German capital region, being the largest area for Life Sciences in Germany, covers more than 80 diagnostics companies and a significant number of well-known research institutes – all eager to get internationally connected with other SME’s. The European Diagnostic Clusters Alliance (EDCA) unites around 400 diagnostic companies in 7 EU countries and is fully supporting the forum turning it into a qualitative European partnering platform for SME. This event will be noticed in Europe and set a new benchmark for quality diagnostic partnership events worldwide.

Berlin is easy to reach for all of you. 2012 will see the opening of the brand-new Berlin Brandenburg International Airport, the most modern airport in Europe. Moreover, June is probably the best time of the year to come and enjoy the variety of attractions in this vibrating city!
